Expression Host and Bioactivity
- Over 90% recombinant proteins are human cell-expressed.Human cell expression ensures the proper folding, glycosylation, gamma-carboxylation and other post-translational modification of recombinant proteins.

Purity
- The majority of our recombinant proteins are purified to above 95% purity, suitable for most in vitro experiments.
- Some recombinant proteins are purified to purity over 99%.

Endotoxin Level
- Human cell-expression ensures lower endotoxin level of most recombinant proteins.
- Recombinant proteins were assessed for endotoxin using the Limulus Amoebocyte Lysates (LAL) assay, and the endotoxin levels are lower than 1.0 EU / μg.
- The endotoxin level of TGF-beta 1 (CATALOG #:10804-HNAH) is 0.15 EU / mg protein as determined by the LAL method.
Formulation and Stability
- All recombinant proteins are carrier-free. The addition of a carrier protein (such as BSA) to protein solutions may disturb your experiments.
- Most recombinant proteins are lyophilized from a sterile filtered solution containing protective agent: trehalose and mannitol. Trehalose is effective for stabilizing protein when lyophilized and during storage in solid state, and also for maximizing recovery upon reconstitution. Mannitol effectively prevents aggregation of protein.
